BEELD HAL WERK
I am very proud to be part of 'The sculpture exhibition of the year' BEELD HAL WERK in Amsterdam.
In an old factoryhall closely located to the IJ in Amsterdam Noord, more than fifty sculptures of Dutch artists will be on display. The extent, diversity, and density of this exhibition are unprecedented in The Netherlands. A unique opportunity to see contemporary sculpture on a large scale.
The opening is on Friday the 3rd of September at 17:00
After the opening the exhibition is open for public daily, until October 31. Opening hours: 11:00 – 19:00

EUROPEAN EXCHANGE ACADEMY 2010
From the 8th untill the 27th of August I'll be part of the EEA staff in Beelitz-Heilstätten in Germany.
The Academy is situated in one of the many abandoned buildings of an old TBS hospital complex in the middle of the forest. It gives the opportunity for art students from all around to go wild and make crazy stuff.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
On the moment I am working on a new work for the exhibition 'For your eyes only' by Simon Wald-Lasowski at Foam. As a reaction on Simon's work I will install the work later next week. It's inspired by the phrase 'In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king' by Erasmus.

NEW WEBSITE
Hello,
Welcome to my new website.
I am still working on it here and there, but feel free to browse through my projects.
New here are my ongoing projects of Snapshots and My First Art Collection. Snapshots shows a collection of daily photos I've taken in the past few years and My First Art Collection shows some of the artworks I've been collecting. Also I integrated my DOORNSTRUIK blog with sketches, ideas, collages and works in progress. In my links you can find some nice works of some friend artists I like.
